Create Security Scan

What is security scan?​

A security scan is a process that checks your cloud environment for vulnerabilities and compliance with industry standards. It helps identify potential risks to ensure your system is secure and meets necessary regulations.

Create Scan through atmosly​

To begin using the security scan feature, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Security Module: Click on the Security module section.

  2. Initiate a Scan: In the top-right corner, click on the Scan button to view the scan details for creation.

  1. Choose Scan Options: You will be presented with two options:

(i) Scan Now: Initiate an immediate scan of your cloud account.
(ii) Scan for Later: This feature will be available soon.

For scan , you have to add the additional details related to the scan.

  1. Account: Select your cloud account.
  2. Type: Please select scan framework type

In the Scan Type section, choose the type of scan you wish to perform. Atmosly supports several types of scans, including:

  • SOC 2: Security controls for service organizations.
  • CIS Level 1: Basic security recommendations from the Center for Internet Security.
  • CIS Level 2: More advanced security controls for critical systems.
  • PCI: Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
  • HIPAA: Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

Click on the Save & Next option.

By selecting the appropriate scan type and cloud account, you can initiate a security scan of your cloud environment to check for vulnerabilities and compliance.
